How to make the perfect smoothie bowlIn 2016 I told myself that I needed to eat healthier, so I thought about sharing this recipe with you. The healthy smoothie bowl is a great way to add fresh fruits to your daily diet and feel good about yourself while eating clean. The power healthy smoothie bowl option it’s always great for breakfast, to start your day right or for a late brunch during the week-end. I would also recommend this bowl before or after a good workout, to get the energy and the protein that you’ll need for your workout or  for a post work out recovery meal. Once you taste the perfect healthy smoothie bowl , you’ll want to prepare it every morning.

Ingredients:

Smoothie

1 cup of frozen berries

1 beet

1 cup of yogourt 2% nature

1 scoop of protein (optional)

 

Toppings

1\2 cup of Almonds

1 tbsp Chia seeds

2 tbsp Granola (Gourmet Granola) from Fourmi Bionique

1 Banana

2 Kiwis

1\2 cup frozen Mangos

1 tbsp Honey

How to prepare the smoothie:

Combine the frozen berries  and the beet in a blender,  add 2 cups of yogourt  and blend until smooth.

Presentation:

Place the smoothie in a  bowl, add banana slices, kiwi slices, mango chunks and also blueberries, cover with  granola, chia seeds and almonds. Finally, add honey to taste.

You can add any toppings you’d like (raspberries, mango, apples, pineapple, strawberries, coconut shreds, etc.), just pick your favourite fruits and you’ll be amazed.
