Richmond Marché Italien

A couple of weeks ago,  my colleagues from work and I went for a 5@7 to Richmond Marché & Bistro to celebrate one of my good friends birthday. Located on the corner on Richmond and William in Griffintown, this beautiful Industrial chic bistro/market has everything that you need,  at Marché Richmond you can find exclusive imported grocery products from Italy like olive oils, pasta, balsamic vinegar, parmigiano cheese, prosciutto, etc.  If you don’t feel like cooking and you live around the neighborhood, you can opt for their prepared meals to go or you ou can also decide to chill at the market, have some drinks and even enjoy a full meal.

On that night,  the 3 of us sat down at the bar and ordered some beers, Moretti on tap was our choice, we all loved it, because it is really rare to find imported Italian draft beer these days. The waitress right away, offered us some bread and olive oil to start, then we ordered some appetizers and we were not disappointed at all. The olive oil and the bread was so good that we asked for more, the combination of olive oil and the scent of rosemary made that piece of bread very special. Then  we shared  a plate of beef carpaccio, calamari and cured meats with olives which were delicious.  At Marché Richmond they take really serious the pleasure of having great food in  great environment, to be honest the quality of the food was really impressing.

Whether you  want to grab a nice cup coffee with a friend, enjoy a full dinner or  just for a quick pit stop for groceries, the Marché Richmond is a spot that you don’t want to miss.
