Coffee Shops

Montreal’s new Surf Café

Last Saturday afternoon, my girlfriend and I decided to give this place a try and we were not disappointed.  I had a flat white coffee, my girlfriend had a cappuccino and a a granola bowl which was delicious, we hung out for about one hour or so and we immediately fall in love with the vibe and also the place. The young creative crowd from Griffintown, Little Burgundy and Saint Henri are all now hanging out at this place.

Located in Notre Dame West, September Surf Café is the newest  coffee shop addition in Little Burgundy’s neighbourhood. The month of September on a worldwide scale is the most active hurricane season, September café was built around the excitement of this particular season. September offers more than just a regular coffee, in the back of the store there is a workshop where  you can shape and create your own surfboard starting from scratch.

On a global partnership with Shaper Studios based in San Diego, CA. Mitch Martin one of the partners decided to bring the idea to Montreal and created the concept of a surf cafe, “a place where people enter for a good cup of coffee and stay for an extra shot of surf”.

On the other hand, the decor is really cool,  a mix of industrial and minimalist style combined with an open environment and a lot of natural light makes this place unique. Definitely my new favourite spot to work on my blog and my posts. Check it out!!!
